Our shop sits on the charming Plaça del Mercat, a treasure in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, known for the stately buildings that surround it, its majestic facades and its modernist and neoclassical architecture. Among the most notable buildings near the square are the Gran Hotel, a modernist work by the architect Lluís Domènech, and the Teatre Principal, one of the oldest theatres in Spain.

In its early days it was a bustling open-air market where traders sold their goods. Today the square is home to a wide variety of shops and restaurants, and hosts craft markets and musical performances through the year.
