OUR
MATERIALS
We want our labels to tell a story of respect for the planet, and we try to make our materials identify with who we are.
From the very beginning, we decided to create a conscious, sensitive, and sustainable fashion concept, focusing on eco-friendly materials in our collections. From the design process to the production of our products, we build long-lasting relationships with our customers and suppliers. Every person, every workshop, and every seamstress help us grow our project and our mission to gradually become an increasingly sustainable, friendly, and honest brand for our planet.
At Biscuit, we know that great projects aren't built overnight, but we're aware that everyday actions are important. That's why we try not to manufacture with synthetic materials like polyester and are based on respect and love—for others and for what we do.
Today, we can say that a large percentage of our collections are made with natural materials. The most commonly used are viscose, cotton, modal, and wool.

Viscose
Sustainability and elegance.
Viscose is a type of plant-based fiber. Made from cellulose extracted from the wood of trees such as eucalyptus, pine, and beech, it is dissolved in a viscous chemical solution, hence its name.
The result is a regenerated fiber that retains the natural essence of cellulose, but with new and improved properties that make it the ideal fabric for creating garments that combine sustainability and elegance. It is characterized by being a soft, breathable material that offers unparalleled freshness.
Tips for greater durability
Check the garment's care label. Viscose is delicate and can shrink, so it's recommended to hand wash in cold or warm water. Gently rub the garment to avoid damaging the fibers. Do not wring it out. It's recommended to air-dry garments made of this material, avoid direct sunlight, and iron at a low temperature. When ironed, the material returns to its natural state.

Cotton
Natural comfort and durability
A fabric of natural origin. Cotton fields are a spectacle that evokes both the simplicity and richness of nature, plants with green leaves and capsules that open into white flakes.
A close look at a cotton plant reveals seeds wrapped in fluffy fibers inside each capsule. These fibers are harvested, spun, and woven to create a versatile, comfortable, and highly durable fabric.
Tips for greater durability
Check the care label. Wash cotton garments separately on a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent color transfer. Line dry. Drying may cause the garment to stiffen and shrink. Iron inside out at medium-high heat with a damp garment.

Wool
natural and respectful warmth
Wool is a natural fiber derived from sheep's fleece that has provided warmth to humanity for centuries. One of its most notable characteristics is its ability to retain heat.
Wool fibers have a natural structure that traps air, creating an insulating layer that retains body heat even in the coldest climates. This thermal property makes wool an essential choice for winter garments.
Tips for greater durability
Check the label. Wool is a delicate material, and it's recommended to hand wash it in cold water. Do not wring the garment, as this can cause the fibers to break and, consequently, deform. Air dry and store in a dry place. Iron at a low temperature.

modal
Strength and softness
Modal is a natural fiber created from the cellulose of beech trees. Its unique manufacturing process makes it biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
Its softness is its most notable characteristic, although unlike other fibers, it is highly resistant to washing without losing its shape or texture. This makes it the ideal ingredient for blending with other natural fabrics and creating highly durable organic garments.
Tips for greater durability
Check the label. Modal is machine washable. Choose a short cycle.
